So I always laugh at those smoking commercials where the people write letters to themselves and read them. I always think, who does that? Then I realized that I do that all the time in my head and even sometimes on paper. This is the letter I wrote to myself last night.Dear me,
What made you the way that you are? Why are you so sensitive sometimes? Why are you so scared to just trust people and let them in and see the real you? Why don't you just lose yourself in service? Why can't you enjoy the small amazing moments in your life that are happening right now instead of worrying so much about the future? Why can't you express yourself in the way that you want to? Why can't you just let go and rely completely on the Lord? Trust Him! He knows what He is doing better than anyone else. He also knows you better than anyone else does.
Love me.
So I guess I won't be judging those commercials anymore!

At times, I feel the same way. MD and her example has helped me to live in the moment and know everything is in His hands. I feel like I have to learn and relearn it over and over. Brendon and I were talking the other night about you and how fun it is to see you happy and confident!
