Not to toot my own horn but...

I love parent teacher conferences because the parents get a chance to tell me how much their student loves having me as a teacher. It gives me more energy to be an even better teacher. One mom almost made me cry last night because she said such kind words. "You have changed her life. She loves coming to your class and she has so much more self confidence since you became her teacher." That was my goal in becoming a teacher so it was great to hear that I have made a tiny difference in the life of one child.
My little boy that has a crush on my was adorable too. He just kept telling me that he loves having me as his teacher and then he would blush. It made me giggle.
I also have a renewed "testimony" of how important the parents are in the success of the student in school. It is amazing to see the relationships that these parents have with their kids and how amazing they are.

I did have you as my teacher and her name was Karlie too....;) I love you Ms. Jones so grateful for the amazing work you are doing. Hugs, mom
