Day 7-a picture of you and the person you have been closest with the longest

Well there are so many great people that I have been close to for a long time, but this girl right here is at the top of my list. I prayed my little heart out for her and I finally got the sister that I longed for. She has taught me so much in her short life! She taught me how to not always hang out with our brothers and to be more girly. She taught me how to pick the right eye shadow for my eye color and she still helps me dress sometimes! My mom always says that when Katie and I get together we are "untouchable." I agree. No one will ever have the sister bond with me that Katie does! Love you Katie!

Day 6-your favorite book

So I realize I missed a day yesterday, but we can just pick up where I left off! So this is my favorite book for many reasons. I love the main character Mary and I love her stubborn personality, because I am, in fact, very stubborn. I love all the different relationships that are formed in this book. Mostly I love it though because it is the book that taught me how to read and it is the book that my mom used to read to me every night or whenever we had a chance. It was one of the few times that I had my mom all to myself and we would leave our world of reality and go to The Secret Garden together! I still have a clear picture in my mind of all of those wonderful nights!

Day 5-favorite tv show

I am a reality tv junkie! I can't help it! I get nervous the night of vote off and I get invested in these people's lives. So here are a couple of my favorites!

Day 4-A photo of you as a child

I am sad to say that I was born in the 80's and have no access to digital pictures of myself when I was young, or to a scanner. Just trust me when I say that I was adorable! If you read this blog often then you know who Mary Deane is. I look somewhat like her, but not as cute! So I thought I would not disappoint and put a cute picture of her new brother Clark on here instead. Enjoy!

Part of Your World

This has always been and will always be one of my favorite movies! I love that she has red hair and really pale skin like me. I also love that she is so independent and has big dreams for her life. I love that she ends up with the dark mysterious prince and I think that Sebastian is hilarious. So I hope you enjoy this clip!

David Archuleta - Something 'Bout Love

So being 25 and single in Utah can be challenging sometimes, but for the most part I love it. I love what David Archuleta says in this song that love can set you free because it can. I think it is a great thing to be in love and I hope for it someday, but I sure am enjoying the ride while I wait for it. I love my job and I love my life and loving something as much as I do has really set me free! (Cheesy, I know)

I am not an artist

My students discovered this week that I am not an artist. We are reading "Tuck Everlasting" and they are loving it! Seriously it takes us an hour to get through a chapter because they want to talk about it and predict what is going to happen next. Well, they were having a problem with all the characters and keeping them straight so I drew them a diagram on the board. I had to draw their horse and this picture is the best I could come up with. When I first drew it, they said that it looked like a platypus. I laughed so hard, but at least my drawing did the trick and now they know who all the characters are!

Larger Than Life

This little girl is larger than life and she has inspired me in more ways than she will ever know. My students get sick of hearing about her, but she really has helped me change my perspective in life. Even when she is sick, she is loving everything around her and every new thing that she gets to learn. Don't get me wrong, she is still a typical 2 year old who can throw a killer tantrum, but she loves life and I love that I get to be a part of her life and that she gets to be a part of mine!
