Answers!!

One of the most satisfying feelings as a mom is knowing that you can fix what is bothering your child.  McCoy has been a bad eater/sleeper since birth.  I ask at every appointment and we always check for diabetes and everything comes back normal.  Brian took McCoy in yesterday for his vision screening for kindergarten.  He asked about McCoy having accidents, not sleeping, and not eating.  She felt his belly and she said she could feel the hard rocks of poo.  She said this could explain a lot of what is going on with him.

So, we are going to put him on Metemucil and get that boy feeling, sleeping, and eating better.  I am hopeful that this is the answer we have been looking for!  He was even happier yesterday when he told me that he had "poo stuck in his belly."  He knows his medicine will make him feel better!  I call that a mom win!  I will post more later on how McCoy and I feel about Kindergarten!!

For posterity

I always told myself that I would remember all the cute things that my kids did so that I could tell them about it when they were older.  I am quickly learning that that is not realistic so I am back to blogging/journaling so that my kids will have funny stories about them and the hard stories too.
These two have a serious love/hate relationship right now.  This is their morning routine: drink their milk, watch a show, and snuggle together on the couch.  It lasts for about a half hour before one hits the other one and then the yelling and crying starts.  I love these moments though and the sweetness that they have for each other.  They have to hug and kiss each other every night before bed.
I love this sweet boy so much!  He is so hard right now too.  His sleep is inconsistent and so is his eating.  Recently his potty training has been sketchy too.  He is also one of the sassiest boys I know.  He sure keeps us humble!  He is so smart and has really caught onto math (numbers and adding them together).  The reading is coming slowly and surely.
This little guy has quite the personality too.  The look on his face here says it all.  He has turned into the typical 2 year old.  He will sneak up to a person, take something, and then run away with an evil laugh.  I can't help but laugh when he does it.  He has also started to yell, "mom," wait until I am looking at him and then do something like hit his brother or start playing with an outlet.  He keeps us on our toes, that is for sure!
We are all anxious and nervous to meet baby girl.  We know that she is going to change our lives and our routine.  McCoy talks to her often and is always close to make sure that I feel okay and that I am eating the right food.  It has made me love McCoy in a whole new way.  We have started buying things for her too and our house is looking a lot more pink.  Eli is in denial or just ignoring the fact that she is coming because he won't even look at the stuff starting to pile up in their room.

Time is flying and my babies are growing up before my eyes!  I love it though.  It is weird that somedays I want them to stay little and then other days, I want them to hurry up and grow up so that they can experience more of life.  Love my little family!
