So this last weekend we went to St. George for Brian's cousin's wedding. We thought we would make a weekend out of it. Why didn't anyone tell me that a road trip while pregnant was not a great idea?!? Brian and his mom sat in front and I sprawled in the back with this pillow. We also stayed in my grandma's condo where the bed is not great. By the time we got back to Salt Lake last night, I was limping around because my nerve in my behind was totally pinched. Anytime I would adjust in the car, baby boy would soccer punch me or kick me really hard. I would tell him, "okay, I get it. You are not comfortable! I will move."
The saddest part of this story...Brian and I are making that trip at least 2 and maybe 3 m
ore times before I give birth to this boy. Pray that I don't die!

Your doctor should have mentioned that road trips are a lot more difficult when you are pregnant. Something mine told me was to make sure to stop every hour to an hour and a half and walk around for at least five minutes. Otherwise you could have blood clots and pinched nerves. And most don't recommend travel after 8 months. Mine was super, super concerned when I took a trip at 32 weeks. Just because it's a risk. So, yeah, talk to your doctor, see what she says for you. I'm sorry you were uncomfortable, but I hope you're still able to make your other trips!
So sorry it was so rough. I also remember stopping every two hours to get out and stretch and walk around the car and go potty. Try not to do the "Jones thing" and push straight through. Take your time and enjoy the beauty of that drive. So beeeeuuuutiful! Love you from here. hmmm, now your belly looks higher???? Must be the angle that you are shooting at? LOL. Love you tons, mom
