It is so hard to be happy when you are away from your family on holidays and this holiday in particular makes me extra homesick. I just wanted to be home doing our traditions. This family pictured here did a great job of filling in for my family! The food was great and so was the company so that is why they make me happy!

As we sat in Cracker Barrel exhausted from all the moving, cleaning etc it just didn't quite feel right. We missed you, Brendon, Ann and Mary Deane. But still sadder and something that we all noticed was the gentleman next to us sitting by himself eating his Thanksgiving meal. Next year will be different, we will invite strangers in so that they are not alone. Hugs, mom
