So it is only part time, but it is a start. I will be working about 10 hours a week at this tutoring center. I was specifically hired to teach a 6th grade boy English. He speaks Portuguese. I have already worked a couple of hours and loved it. The pay is great and the people I work with are great too. At least it is not Wendy's and I am still getting teaching experience. Now hopefully I can still get a teaching job on top of this one! That would be perfect, but I will take what I can get for now.

Congratulations. You are a desirable person for hire, never forget that. Never stop trying. Keep retrying with any and all districts every few months because so many people drop out or are not dependable and they need new applicants to choose from. Just some random thoughts. Not advice. Hugs, mom
