20 vs. 20,000

These are the faces of parents who love their daughter. I was in their home for the weekend and was able to help with some of the daily rituals of taking care of a baby with cystic fibrosis. During the time that I was there, I nebulized and "thumped" Mary Deane. I turned to Ann and said, "this is the longest ten minutes of my life!" On the drive home to Georgia I roughly did the math for how many minutes Ann and Brendon have spent nebulizing and "thumping" Mary Deane and it is a lot more than me. So thanks for letting me come visit and catch a glimpse of what unconditional love is. Mary Deane is lucky to have you guys! Love you.

They are the perfect parent's for Mary Deane. What a priviledge for them to raise such a choice little one. What a priviledge to be a part of their family. I love you Karlie for writing such thoughtful comments about this special family. Can't wait until you are blogging about your own sweet family one day. Hugs, mom

Thank you Karlie! This was such a sweet post to read. Thank you for giving us two wonderful nights for just the two of us--it helps us love her better.
