So I have been babysitting a lot lately and have been rethinking my wanting 10 kids idea. Yesterday was one of those days. I had all three of the Jensen boys in the pool and felt like I was going to pull my hair out from trying to keep track of all three of them and make sure they stay above water. Then my mom made them dinner and I fed it to them.
Next came the exciting part...Jordan and Jake were arguing over whose underwear each was wearing while trying to get their hotdog and green beans to sing and dance the loudest and the best. The doorbell rings and I quickly wrap a towel around my swim suit clad body. The at&t guy wants to come in and have my check the phone and internet. John David decides that he wants to be clingy at this moment so I pick him up and as I do he pulls down my bathing suit to give the at&t guy more to see than he bargained for. Humiliated, I let the at&t man out, put the baby down and take a deep breath.
The great thing though was telling my mom about it later and laughing. Then this morning I went to my day babysitting job that is just one 8 month old baby and as her and I sat on the couch and laughed and talked, I thought to myself, "maybe I can do the whole motherhood thing if it is only one baby at a time!"

Poor AT&T guy! ;) And I had no idea you wanted 10 children; maybe you'll get them in sets a few years apart and that'll make it more manageable? It sounds like you're having so much fun! :D
That's hilarious!
Motherhood is not for sissies. One of the best books ever written. I love you and your blogs. Hugs, a mom who is reaping it's rewards.
Karlie,
Last time I knew, we may have had a 2nd grade position open? If you want, I can send my principal a line and see if she has filled them. I know our school hasn't taken any involuntary transfers yet- and those have to be filled before they can hire new teachers. I am coming back for next year. If you want me to send her a line and see if there are still openings let me know. Where have you been looking? GA? UT? Good luck- this is a hard year to get hired, I've heard!
